So having enjoyed the eight day trek back from Ipswich across a waterlogged England, today we’re off again through the late November gloom and rain.

As we trundled the circus up north to Newcastle – where we’re staying before the Sunderland show on Wednesday at the Independent – it was great to hear the new single “Interstate” on Radio 1 daytime (nice one Fearne x). After another 7 hours cramped in a bus and an interesting mix up at the hotel whereby they seemed to want us all to share double beds in a mass love-in, Geordie style, we’ve now headed out for some fine oriental cuisine and then onwards and out to do a comparative study of Newcastle nightlife versus Ipswich (our last port of call on Saturday – top night out).

We suspect from previous experience that Newcastle will win hands down, but you never know, could be a close call?

Anyway with only a couple of weeks left until “Interstate” gets released it’s all getting nice and busy. When we finish this weeks dates we’re off up to London for some TV and press interviews and then it’s back to work on album artwork, some b-sides for the next single for the 7″ vinyl, a new video and loads of other stuff which we’ll let everyone know about in a mailout soon.

Oh yeah, you can check out the single on Fearne Cotton’s BBC show here is you missed it (near the end of the show): BBC RADIO 1 – FEARNE COTTON SHOW

See ya in Sunderland, Carlisle, Stockton or Coventry !
